Does your student deserve a National Merit Scholarship?
The National Merit Scholarship Corporation uses PSAT scores to qualify semi finalists who then compete for monetary awards. Such recognition can be used to secure additional scholarship money from other institutions. Many students do little to prepare for this exam because they believe colleges and universities ignore PSAT scores. However, educational institutions look closely at PSAT scores when considering grants, financial aid, and additional scholarships for those who enroll. Additionally, strong PSAT performance indicates readiness for other standardized tests like the ACT/SAT.
